Attention Cascade & Ulm School District Voters:Ballots for the School Election were sent out, April 18th, 2019. If you do not receive a ballot it is likely because you are not a registered voter in the district, you are an inactive voter in the district, or you have an old, incorrect or undeliverable address registered under your voter profile. If you do not get a ballot and believe you should have, please contact Karsen Drury at (406) 469-9383 x 104 to rectify the discrepancies.Regular voter registration closed April 8th. You may still late register with the county elections office, up until 5 pm on Election Day, May 7th.Ballots may be mailed in or dropped off at the school between 8:00 and 4:00, Monday-Friday. New Montana State Law has new requirements for anyone who is returning a ballot that belongs to another individual. A person returning another person's ballot must register with the election official, certifying they meet certain requirements. A person may only return six (6) ballots per election.  Hello Cascade Parents and Community,I am writing this letter to ask for your help.  Cascade Schools is extremely short-handed with bus drivers for the 2019/2020 school year and beyond. We are in need of route drivers as well as activity drivers.If we don’t find more drivers, the school may have to close down as many as three bus routes and discontinue providing transportation for elementary and junior high activities and athletic events. If the school does not find route drivers and is forced to eliminate bus routes, the school could lose quite a few students who may choose to attend other school districts. This would lead to reduced enrollment for the school and loss of programs for our students. Combining routes is another option, but this would cause the bus routes to be much longer, as much as an hour and a half each way, and lead to more inconvenient and perhaps unsafe pickup areas. Our activities are also greatly affected by the bus driver shortage. The school has had numerous occasions in which a bus cannot be provided for athletic events.  Without additional drivers, the transportation department will have to cut back on trips. As of now, the elementary trips and junior high trips will have to be eliminated, and some of the high school trips as well. The high school activities that will be most affected will be the fall and spring sports.Please help us by considering becoming a driver for our district.  If you don’t have a CDL you may still be able to help. The transportation department has a program in place to help obtain the necessary licenses. If you are unable to drive for us, please help us recruit possible drivers. Even if you are interested in driving on a limited bases, please consider helping the district out.  High School All-Sports Banquet         The dessert banquet will be held on Monday, May 6th to recognize our high school student-athletes.  All members of the high school teams will be recognized and team awards will be given. Family and friends are invited to attend.  It will be at 6:30 in the old gym.

 2019-20 Sport Physicals  Sports physicals will be offered again through Benefis on May 7th.  These are for all current 6th - 11th-grade students.  We will be leaving Cascade School at 9:10. Transportation is provided. Cost is $20.  Students will need to have the physical form completed, signed, and fee paid by Friday, May 3rd.

 State Science Fair was a resounding success! Congratulations to the students and Mrs. Rumney!!!!The results are as follows:Jack Snyder, Madeline Schrecengost, Audrey Rumney, Jeremiah Creveling, Brent Ethridge, Sydney Gutierrez and Harlie Jackson all received gold ribbons, with Brent and Jeremiah placing 2nd in overall 7th grade Physical. Tyler Lane, Ian McKaymey, Braedyn Johnson, Marshall Byrnes and Hayden Isaak received silver. Harley Bricker, Carsyn Otheim, Raygan Carroll, Hattie Orem and Kodiann Lynn received bronze ribbons.
