Superintendent Levi Collins

It is with great pleasure that I would like to introduce myself to the school and comunity.  My name is Levi Collins and I am the Superintendent of Cascade Public Schools.  My wife, Savannah, my 5 children, Krew, Kace, Jayde, Landry and Swaysie, are very excited to be members of this community and school.  When we entered the Badger Den and moved to Cascade, we were immediately met with people who showed up to our house to help unload the moving truck and get us established.  I knew then this was my kind of community when strangers were willing to help out neighbors just because they want the school to succeed. I want to thank all who helped out and know we are grateful for your support.  

I moved to Cascade from Wyoming where I was the principal of a small ranching town K-12 school that is similar to Cascade.  We enjoyed much success in our small school and I am excited to have the same opportunity to do the same here.  While I was born and raised in Northern Wyoming, I have family in Montana and I have always enjoyed this beautiful state.  My family and I have already been enjoying the outdoor life here and we have met several members of this community. 

Before I was principal, I was an assistant principal in a large school district in Ogden, Utah.  Before becoming a principal there, I was an athletic director and science teacher.  I am confident my various experiences and skill set will be a boon to the community and school system.  

I have heard the school is the heart of the community as is the case with many small towns and I know how much we all invest in our children’s future.  I will make it my goal to help this school be the best that it can be for all of us.  I know this school has achieved great things in the past and that we expect great things moving forward.  I want everyone to feel they can be a partner in making this school what we want it to be.  Please feel free and encouraged to schedule a meeting with me as I would love to hear what makes this school great and also hear any suggestions for future improvement.  I would enjoy the chance to get to know all community members, leaders and staff and hear their thoughts on our school.
