The meeting will be held by REAL Essentials Advance who will be providing relationship and social skills to Cascade freshman. Please join us to learn more about the program and topics, the consent forms for the research study associated with the program, and to enjoy pizza and conversation provided by REAL Essentials Advance. 

Badger Player of the Week For the week of August 29th 2022 High SchoolThis young lady embodies team competitive spirit with very few defeating behaviors…unselfish, uplifting, to all, and does not require extra energy from teammates or coaches.  Her head down, hardworking, gritty mentality is starting to pay off as she becomes a strong defensive specialist for the Cascade Badger Volleyball Team.  “Maddie Cope is quickly becoming the attack dog of our backrow.  She is stepping into a big role and doing it the only way she knows how, with a smile on her face and a lot of heart”.  -  Coach Liz. Junior High Bryson Smith is the Junior High Player of the Week.  Bryson shows up to practice every day with a positive attitude, hardworking spirit, and constant encouragement for her teammates.  Not only does she complete every repetition with 100% effort and attention to correct technique, but she also pushes her teammates to do the same.  Bryson’s high-energy style of play is exciting to watch and we can’t wait to see her in action this upcoming Friday.

Hello parents/guardiansI just wanted to introduce (or reintroduce) myself and let you know a few resources available at Cascade School. My name is Carrie Jones, and I am the school counselor. I work with students in K1-12th grade. I am here to help you in any way I can.I do send home Thursday food bags home if there is a need for extra food in the home. Also we offer holiday food baskets for both Thanksgiving & Christmas. Badger Player of the Week For the week of August 22nd 2022 High SchoolIan Mckamey is the High School Player of the Week.  Ian has been asked to do a lot for the Badger Football team during these first two weeks of football.   He is an extremely hard worker and always has a positive attitude.  He has great leadership skills, which can be seen on and off the field.  We invite you to come out and watch Ian and the rest of the Badger football team for our first home football game vs Simms on Friday September, 2 at 7:00. Junior HighDeyton Raether is the JH Player of the Week.  Deyton was chosen due to his off-season work and dedication which led to him being chosen as a Team Captain for the Week 1 game against Belt.  Deyton led the team's preparation and focus in the week leading up to the game showing leadership both on and off the field.  During the game against Belt, Deyton stood out on both offense and defense.  He led the team in both receptions (2) and receiving yards (40) where both catches were crucial and drive sustaining.  On the defensive side, he and his teammates held a very talented and tough Belt team to just 6 points.  Deyton specifically forced and recovered a fumble, recorded several tackles and superbly played his position throughout the game.  Deyton's pick as Player of the Week was unanimous.

ANNUAL HEARING SCREENINGSDuring the month of August and September 2022, annual hearing screenings will beconducted on all Kindergarten, 1 st and 9 th grade students. Badger Player of the Week For the week of August 14th 2022 High SchoolThe Volleyball Coaching staff would like to recognize Kayleen Mckamey as our athlete of the week.  Kayleen is a senior and a returning varsity player.  She is an outstanding student athlete who excels in the classroom, in her community and really showed off her volleyball skills this week in the team’s tryout process. Coming in second in tryout points against 17 other athletes in the program.  She is a hard working athlete who regularly stays after to work on individual skill work or to set up the hitters who want extra practice. “Kayleen is a young lady that you just really enjoy having in the gym, she is positive, energetic, extremely encouraging to others and this week proved her varsity spot by having a great tryout!” Coach Liz  Junior HighAllie Park, 7th grader, is this week's Cross Country Runner Spot-Light.  This is Allie’s 2nd year running cross-country.   She has started out with a strong pace and has a leader mindset. Allie has a great work ethic and a positive attitude.   With our first meet this Saturday at Deer Lode; I know she's going to compete hard and represent Cascade well.
