Player of the Week

Badger Player of the WeekWeek of September 19th  High School Nathan Gatch Senior Nate has shown great leadership over the years I’ve coached him- He is extremely hard worker and has made himself into a very good football player- His leadership was put to test this past week after disappointing team lost against Lone Peak and he and his team responded with a huge homecoming win over Chouteau 40-12 last Friday night.  I’m super proud of the person that Nate has become and leader he is on and off the field!GO Badgers!Coach DirkJunior HighIsaac EdmundsonIsaac Edmundson was a standout performer both on and off the field this week.  Isaac plays quarterback, receiver and safety for the Badgers and his positive, can-do attitude combined with a steady demeanor makes him a natural leader for those around him, especially on the Junior High football team.  On the field, Isaac's quick-thinking and elusiveness led the Badgers to two wins this week.  Isaac scored a total of five touchdowns (runs of 45, 32, 21, 6 and 44 yard punt return), intercepted a pass and made several key tackles that helped the Badgers to hold opponents scoreless in both games.  Highlighting Isaac's accomplishments, he is playing quarterback this year for the first time.  He has done a fantastic job picking up the position, earning the starting quarterback position for the 6th/7th grade team and the key backup role to the 8th grade team.

Football Game Change

Athlete of the Week

Badger Player of the Week For the week of September 12, 2022High School  Zoe Mazaira is proving that she deserves a spot on the court!  She is currently captain of the JV team, where she continues to play a huge role in leading a young team and helping them play to a higher level.  She is also part of the varsity team and on multiple occasions this season Zoe has stepped up and stepped in as a valuable substitution for the Cascade Badgers Varsity Volleyball Team.  “Zoe has come a very long way since we started coaching her three years ago.  In the past she struggled with adapting to stressful game situations.  This year she is becoming our go to in stressful game competition, in both JV and Varsity.  As coaches we could not be prouder of the dedication and effort she has shown in her volleyball career. And as for serving, she is Aces!” -Coach Liz Junior High  Harper Pieper is the Junior High athlete of the week.  Harper is a hard working athlete who displays a strong desire to improve her skills.  Even when things don’t quite go our way on the court, we can always rely on Harper to encourage her teammates and maintain a good attitude.  This week, Harper has made incredible progress in serving, and she tallied a few aces in our match against GFCC.  We are proud of Harper’s perseverance and positivity!
