On Thursday our Seniors went to the Great Falls College for a College/Job Fair. They got to talk with recruiters from schools all over the state along with potential employers and military recruiters.
Friday was a busy day, we started the parade off at 2:00p with a great processional turn out and lots of community members lining the streets. After the parade we had our first annual Homecoming Carnival. Patrons got to pick-a-duck, try and eat a hotdog on a string, cake walk, plinko and much more! We had such a great time a little bear tried to join us but was veered away by our great Volunteer Fire Dept. along with our local FWP guys.
Our 3rd Grade class got us fired up before the Varsity game with their performance to the school song! Great choreography Mrs. Sanders!
The Varsity boys put on quite a show defeating the Choteau Bulldogs 40-12. During halftime Seniors Kayleen McKamey & James Lewis were crowned Homecoming King and Queen 2022. Then Liz Edmundson had to get down and kiss a pig! Thank you all who contributed to the Student Council Fundraiser this year and way to be a good sport Liz!
Friday night ended with a High school Homecoming dance! The kids were excited to bring back this tradition and all had a great time celebrating the wins and winding down the week.
We finished off Homecoming week on Saturday, we were happy to host our 3rd annual Cascade Invitational Cross Country meet. We had approximately 50 JH/HS XC runners. Trent Lane set the tone for the Cascade team by finishing 1st place in the JH Boys heat, Lyndon Magnuson finished in 10th place. For our JH girls we filled out the top 10 places with Emma Edmundson coming in 2nd place, Allie Park in 3rd place, Lindie Cumming in 4th and Reece Hastings in 8th place!
