Lifetouch will be here Tuesday December 5th for Winter Sports pictures, starting right after school let's out.
There will be an end of the year All Sports Banquet on Monday, May 7th, 2018. All varsity achievements will be recognized during this event. Fall athletes earning a varsity letter and planning on purchasing a jacket prior to the banquet may have a parent/guardian request the letter from the Athletics/Activities Director, Sonja Mazaira.
The honor roll root beer floats for students in grades 4-6, who are on the A-B honor roll, will be served after lunch on Wednesday, November 15 in the commons. The honor roll ice cream sundaes for students in grades 7-12 will be served in the commons, also,on Wednesday, November 15. The junior high students will be dismissed at about 2:40 pm and the high school students will be dismissed at about 3:05 pm. The honor roll ice cream social is for those students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or above.The root beer floats and ice cream sundaes are courtesy of the Cascade PTA-so give them a "Thank you" whenever you see a member of the PTA!

Please join Cascade Public Schools for our annual Veterans Day Celebration. There will be an assembly in the new gym on November 10th, at 9:00 am to honor all of those who have served in our armed forces. It's Red Ribbon Week at Cascade Schools, and were actively promoting our keep away from drugs program to all our students. We can't do this alone, and seek the support from parents, family, and community toward keeping "our kids" away from drugs. Did you know it can take as little as one exposure to meth to lead a person down the road of a life filled with drugs and all the horrors it can bring, like family disruption, law enforcement intervention, jail and prison time, and life filled with sickness and death. The same goes with illegal access to prescription drugs, and the epidemic pain killer meds like hydrocodone. There are no good reasons to even try drugs, NONE! That's why we're focusing awareness this week, but it really needs to be a constant focus. You can support this effort by keeping your homes and lives drug free. Clear out old prescriptions of prescribed pain killers, and keep current prescriptions locked up or hidden to prevent unauthorized access. Are you doing your share to keep our kids away from drugs?
