SBAC Field Test is Underway

We're nearing completion of the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Field Test for our students in Grades 3-8 and 11. There are two Math tests and two English Language Arts (ELA) tests. Our testing window is open until mid-May, but we hope to complete all testing right around Spring Break. Each portion of the test takes about 1hr 15mins to complete, on average. As this is the Field Test for the new Common Core curriculum adopted by Montana, this year's test is a test of the procedures and questions, and does not count toward Adequate Yearly Progress. Test results will not be released this year. The "real" test begins next Spring of 2015.

Science CRT

It's the LAST CRT test you'll ever take. Ever! The bubble sheet gets one last shot with our students in 4th, 8th, and 10th grades on Thursday, March 13th when they will take the Science CRT test. Students should get a good rest before the test. Parents: Send your kids to bed early! Make sure they're well fed before heading off to school to take these tests, or have $$ to enjoy a school breakfast.
