2nd Graders Disect a Goose

Ms. Standley's 2nd Grade Class Disected a Goose!  The 2nd Grade class had an exceptional lesson today when Josh Schrecengost brought a Canada Goose to class for disection and to teach the kids, er I mean Junior Biologists, all about Geese. They learned about the importance of the feathers and goose down, and during the disection got to view the goose breast, heart, gizzard, liver, stomach, intestines, lungs, trachea, and some other icky stuff, Josh asked the students many questions, and it was AMAZING how much these little darlings know about the Canada Goose. They were very attentive and inquisitive. Great job 2nd Graders!
