NHS INDUCTION CEREMONY

The Principal and Honor Society of Cascade High School are pleased to announce the selection of Raina Blackman, Zachary Douglas, and Kennadi Shumaker for membership in the Cascade Chapter of National Honor Society. Family, friends, and community members are cordially invited to attend the induction ceremony to be held in the School Commons on Monday, April 3rd, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.

LOST AND FOUND

The Lost & Found bin is overflowing with coats, jackets, shirts, sweatshirts, shoes, water bottles, and backpacks. Please stop by the box in the Commons area to take a look and see if any of the contents are your property. We'll hold onto this stuff for awhile, but if not claimed soon we'll turn it in for donation.

SPELLING BEE

On Friday, March 3rd, Georgia Balius and Skye Smith represented Cascade School at the Cascade County Spelling Bee, held at West Elementary in Great Falls. Georgia earned 6th place and Skye placed in the top 10. They are both 7th graders and are already planning their strategy to win next year. Congratulations!  

BASKETBALL DISTRICTS

The Cascade Badgers Boys and Girls basketball teams are competing in the 10-C District games Wednesday through Saturday at Great Falls High School The games will be broadcast live on KSEN 11050AM and KZIN 96.7 FM radio and on the internet at http://k96fm.com/basketball-on-ksen-and-kzin/. Go Badgers! Results: Wed: Girls beat Valier. Boys beat Augusta. Thurs: Boys lose to Heart Butte. Girls vs Simms at 4pm. Fri: Boys vs GFCC 11am.

CONGRATS STATE CHAMP WRESTLERS

Congrats Cascade Badgers Class C State Championship Wrestlers. Thanks to all who came out Sunday to help welcome back our Championship team. 

MIOSM CONCERT & TURKEY DINNER

  The annual Music In Our Schools Month concert and turkey dinner will be Monday, March 6, 2017. The dinner will be from 5-6:30 pm in the school cafeteria and the concert begins at 7:00 pm in the north gym.  Tickets will be available from any Cascade music student soon.  Look for more info to come. SCIENCE FAIR

The Cascade Schools annual Science Fair for grades 7-9 will be held Monday, February 20 in the south gym.  Students will set up their projects by 8:00 am with judging to begin at about 8:30 am.  Public viewing will be between 3:30 and 4:30 pm on that day.  If you are interested in helping with judging, please contact either Melody Skogley (468-2267 ext 119) or Kelly Rumney (468-2267 ext 124)

BOARD CHAIR VISITS DC

Our Cascade Schools Board of Trustees Chairman Rick Cummings, in his capacity as MT School Boards Association (MTSBA) Vice President, along with three other MTSBA staff were in Washington DC last week and met with our Montana Congressional Delegates. DRIVERS ED

Regretfully, our search for a Drivers Ed certified instructor has not been successful, thus we will not be offering a Drivers Ed program this Spring/Summer 2017. Students needing Drivers Ed training may contact the Great Falls Public Schools (CMR or GFH), or Simms, to see if they have seats available. Students MUST be at least 14 1/2  years of age to enroll.
