Also, bring a water bottle. We will be running on the first day of practice! Any athletes that require an inhaler, please bring those too!Since we are getting a later start this year I would encourage you to begin running now if you haven’t followed a training plan over the summer. It will help you be ready for the first day of practice and (hopefully) help you not be as sore the first week of practice. Don’t worry about being fast, just put in some miles between now and the first day of practice. The schedule for cross-country meets is forthcoming and will be posted on the school website when completed.Coach Pearl

BACK TO SCHOOL INFO

The big countdown is on as we're just days away from starting the 2017-2018 school year. We're in the final preparations to opening the door and getting this school year rolling. Pay attention to the calendar events. Here's some highlights of what else has been going on over the summer. We're welcoming some new staff, including Mrs. Sonja Mazaira as the Athletics/Activities Director and Elementary PE Teacher, Ms. Becca Cooper as the 1st Grade Teacher, Mrs. Julia Maxwell as the Early K Teacher, Ms. Amanda Tharp as the 3rd Grade Teacher, Mrs. Pamela Moultray as the JH/HS Special Education Teacher, Mr. Andrew Perry as the HS Science Teacher. Mrs. Michelle Price has moved to 4th Grade Teacher, and Mrs. Alissa Johnson is the 5th Grade Teacher. Mrs. Melody Skogley will be our long-term sub for Mrs. Christa Hardy while she is out on maternity leave. Mrs. Stephanie Perry will be in the Attendance Office greeting and managing visitors and phone calls, while Mrs. Tracy Taft is in the Student Office managing student issues. Mrs. Mandy Eike and her crew (Stephanie, Kandra, Kailee, and Barry) have been hard at work painting, stripping/waxing floors, and re-assembling classrooms. The floors look good enough to eat off! (5-second rule of course). Our tech upgrades include replacing the JH Lab computers and updating the HS Computer and Business Lab computers to Windows 10 and Adobe Suite. Our fiber connection will increase from 45mbps to 100mbps soon, to handle the ever-increasing demand for internet access by students and staff.
