The 7th graders will be going skiing on Friday, March 5 and the 8th graders will be going on Friday, March 12. Please see the attached letter for details. All students should have brought home a permission slip as well as a yellow ski card.

Our MIOSM Concert will have the same COVID-19 limitations that all other events have. Face masks are required, social distancing, stay away if you are sick, and a limit of 250 people (including performers).We ask that you sign up ahead of time with the Google form (form is now closed). You will be able to sign in at the door.If we have 2 people attend for each student who is performing, then we still have room for extra people. So, we think that all family members who wish to attend will be able to be there. It is not a guarantee, however.The concert will be live-streamed and can be found HEREThe concert is Monday, March 1st, at 7 pm.
So why not explore our acting skills in English? Ms. Hortert's English classes have been learning about Shakespeare and reading a variety of his famous works. They then have been practicing scenes to perform in front of their class with a variety of props. The prop that stops Mrs. Pieper's heart every time is the babydoll that looks surprisingly real! BPA's fundraiser was very successful this year despite the COVID restrictions. Not only did they deliver bushels of balloons, flowers, and stuffed animals, but they also made sure EVERY child in the elementary school received something. They used their remaining balloons to show each elementary child that they are loved here at Cascade Schools!
