- Early Kindergarten Facts
- The Early Kindergarten focus is K-6 readiness and learning “how to learn”. (Students do not have to pass a test to move onto Kindergarten.)
- Our Early Kindergarten report card is based on Montana Early Standards. These learning targets are designed to teach students how to learn and be in school.
- Early Kindergarten funding is based on enrollment, just like kindergarten.
- We feel that our Early Kindergarten is a great program that has both long and short-term benefits, but it is not mandatory before entering kindergarten at CPS.
- How do I enroll my child in Early Kindergarten or Kindergarten?
- Required paperwork prior to Attending School
- Pupil Information Sheet, Certified Birth Certificate (copies are ok), Immunization Records
- Tracy Taft, Student Secretary, is available for submitting paperwork starting August 2nd
- 2020-2021 Early Kindergarten students do not need to pre-register for Kindergarten
- Required paperwork prior to Attending School
