Since its beginning in 1985, the Red Ribbon has touched the lives of millions of people around the world. In response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, angered parents and youth in communities across the country began wearing Red Ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the killing and destruction caused by drugs in America.

Cascade Schools will be joining the effort during the week of October 26 – 30.  Monday the students will all be given red ribbons which they will wear throughout the week.

K-12 Dress up days will be:
Monday – Wear Red Ribbon
Tuesday – Hats off to a drug free life style – wear hats
Wednesday – Black Out Drugs – Wear Black
Thursday – Too Smart to do Drugs – Nerd Day
Friday – Wear Red Day
