Attention all you folk dancers out there! The Cascade Music and PE departments will be putting on our annual (except for last year!) Folk Dance workshop and evening event on Thursday, March 31.
The music students have been learning the basic dance steps for folk dancing in their music classes the last couple of weeks and will be ready for the workshop on Thursday, March 31, 2022. The Folk Dance workshop will be held for the students during the day on March 31 with the family Folk Dance evening event to follow in the North gym from 5:15 - 6:30 pm. We will have live music for both the workshop during the school day as well as for the evening.
The folk dance callers for this workshop are music teachers from Fort Benton, Andrew Kilpatrick, and Helena, Jennifer Skogley along with David Casey, also from Helena, providing the live music. You may remember how much fun David and the callers had with the music from the last time!
This event has been super fun in the past and we know you won't want to miss it! It's a great opportunity for your student to teach you some things they have learned during the workshop and dance with family and friends!
There will be refreshments for the evening event as well.
We hope to see you Thursday, March 31 from 5:15 - 6:30 pm in the North gym!
